Outline
The objective of the round table was to
determine conceptual directions of the tax system development in Ukrainian agriculture beginning from the year 2004,
discuss the current tax system in agriculture and its role for state budget revenues,
assess the impact exerted by some types of taxes on the efficiency of agricultural enterprises,
consider taxation systems in agriculture of developed and transition counties, define the basic principles for developing the tax system in agriculture of Ukraine.
Representatives of the following organizations participated at the round table:
Verkhovna Rada Committee for Agricultural Policy and Land Relations;
Presidential Administration; Ministry of Economy and for Issues of European Integration; Ministry of Finance; State Tax Administration; Institute for Agricultural Economics UAAS; Secretariat of the Coordinating Counsel for Issues of Agricultural Policy with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; National Agricultural University; Kyiv National Economic University.
